If, like me, you occasionally feel the need to leave the city behind and try something new, then I can only recommend the Jungfernheide climbing forest in Berlin. I was thrilled as soon as I arrived: a real adventure in the great outdoors awaits here – and just a stone’s throw away from the hustle and bustle of the city! <\/p>\n

The climbing forest was opened in 2012 and really offers something for everyone – whether young or old, sporty or more leisurely. The courses are divided into different levels of difficulty, which are marked with colors: Green for beginners, blue for advanced climbers, red for real climbing pros and black for those who really want to challenge themselves. On my first visit, I tried out the green and blue routes – real fun! Since then, I’ve returned again and again and have also dared to try the difficult routes. I love to challenge myself, but also like to go back to the easier ones to warm up and enjoy the adventure to the full! <\/p>\n

I was immediately impressed by the safety: all the equipment is explained well in advance and you get a briefing before you go into the trees. So you can concentrate fully on climbing and enjoy the view without having to worry. The staff are super friendly and make you feel at ease right from the start. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

The best thing about this experience? The fantastic location! The climbing forest is located in Jungfernheidepark, a beautiful, green spot in the Charlottenburg-Wilmersdorf district. As you swing from tree to tree, you not only have the challenge in front of you, but also a breathtaking view of the nature surrounding the park. The mixture of fresh air and the feeling of being high up in the trees makes it an unforgettable experience. <\/p>\n

And don’t worry – even though climbing can be strenuous, there are always breaks where you can enjoy the view or simply take a deep breath. If you’re in the mood for more after climbing, you can relax in the park or take a short break by the lake. <\/p>\n

So if you are looking for a place where you can experience something exciting with your family or friends, then the Jungfernheide climbing forest is the perfect spot! The climbing forest is usually open from mid-March to October, although the exact times can vary depending on the season. In the high season, at weekends and on public holidays, it is usually open from 10:00 to 19:00. <\/p>\n

I would recommend that you check the website for the current opening hours before your visit or give them a call to make sure everything fits.<\/p>\n
